The school has the responsibility for First Aid Only. In cases of illness, the student will be cared for until the parent arrives or the student is returned to class. In case of minor injury, attention will be given, and the student will return to class. In case of major injury, first aid will be given, and the parent will be immediately notified. Be sure you keep us up to date on telephone numbers.
All medication must be labeled in the original prescription container. Under no circumstances will any medication, not even aspirin, be given to anyone without a physician’s order or an authorization for medication form completed by the parent. These authorization forms are available in the school office. No child is allowed to carry medication on them or bring medication into the school. Parents must bring in all medications to the clinic.
